We are currently advertising a number of funded PhD studentships at Bishop Grosseteste University, including opportunities within DrEAMSLab to study (your own project relating to):
- Dreaming as a reflection of memory consolidation in sleep
- Sleep’s role in enhancing episodic and autobiographical memory
- Sleep’s role in memory reorganisation
- The effect of sleep quality and quantity on metamemory
Studentships would employ quantitative, largely experimental designs to explore relationships between sleep, memory and dreaming. We’d particularly welcome projects exploring these concepts in applied settings. The PhD would be completed within the supportive environment of DrEAMSLab (www.dreamslab.co.uk ).
Please see the BGU website for full details on how to apply. And feel free to email me (caroline.horton@bishopg.ac.uk) /tweet me (@sleepandmemory) for further info.
